The new Palm Jumeirah home of the world’s most famous cruise liner, the QE2, will start being built in September, the Gulf Daily has reported. UAE-based firm Nakheel will develop the luxury marina on the eastern trunk of the Palm, where the QE2 is hoped to become a huge tourist attraction. The liner will form the pinnacle of a grand pier that will stretch 300m out to sea.
