Designed by the Lotte Group, the long-awaited 555-metre second Lotte World tower is planned to raise the competitiveness of South Korea ’s tourism industry, according to the retail group. The KRW1.5 trillion won (US$1 billion) project is expected to feature a luxury hotel, department store, cinema, theme park and a concert hall, the report added.
