India plans common UNESCO site ticket

India is to introduce a common entry ticket for all of its UNESCO-listed World Heritage sites, Anil Mathur reports. The famous Taj Mahal however, will not be included in the common ticket, India ’s Planning and Parliamentary Minister, V Narayanswamy, said. A separate ticket will be available for all monuments protected by the Archaeological Survey of India. The price of the common tickets was not revealed.
